That’s why we design and produce speakers that reproduce music the way the artist really meant it. Just as if you were experiencing a live concert.
Depending on the size and concept, we use the highest quality, most sustainable materials and timeless design elements possible to ensure that the speakers will fit easily into your living or work environment. We are constantly working to further develop our wavemaster-typical combination of sound, material and design.
Our speakers are without exception designed and developed by a small, experienced team in Bremen. This applies to the design, as well as to the acoustics, the electronics and the programming of the control software.
With regard to production, we have taken steps to relocate individual production elements to Europe, thus keeping the majority of the value chain in Germany. We are constantly working on testing new, sustainable materials and integrating them into production. For example, wavemaster has already been offering products made of solid, oiled bamboo since 2018. In addition, the individual parts and components of our products are constantly checked and optimized to ensure a long service life on the one hand and good repairability on the other.

The wavemaster brand was founded in 1996 by C. Melchers GmbH & Co. KG – an international service and trading company. At that time, the product portfolio mainly comprised multimedia speakers for the then emerging PC market. Over the years, the brand and products have been continuously developed and adapted to new technologies and market conditions. A big advantage was and is that individual members from the development team have stayed with wavemaster since the early days. They still define the identity and philosophy of the brand as well as products. Thanks to them, our products benefit from a very rich experience to this day.
Today, wavemaster is owned by HMC Hightech Media Components GmbH & Co. KG, a marketing and trading company with extensive expertise in audio technology and design. In addition to wavemaster, the company also owns the children’s speaker brands HÖRBERT and KIDZAUDIO. The company’s headquarters are located in Bremen, Germany.
Where, if not in Bremen? The Free and Hanseatic City of Bremen has always been an important place for shipping, foreign trade and free entrepreneurship. Even today, one can feel the international and innovative athomasphere of this economic metropolis. The commercial management and the headquarters of our company are located here. Our office is located directly in the center, close to the historic old town and the lively Weser riverbank. The excellent logistical infrastructure in Bremen enables us to serve large parts of Europe quickly and efficiently.
Our second location is in Nürtingen, which is home to various technical developments and customer support.
